Our Story
Black Tulip Landscaping Inc. was built on something deeply personal.
The name “Black Tulip” is a tribute to my late mother, who once owned a flower shop by the same name. When it came time to start my own company, I knew I wanted to carry forward her legacy, one rooted in care, beauty, and dedication. Choosing the name felt like the perfect way to honor her memory and bring that same passion into the landscaping world.
Before launching Black Tulip Landscaping, I worked for a large multinational corporation. While that chapter taught me valuable lessons, it never felt fulfilling. I’ve always been driven by the desire to create something tangible to see the real results of hard work, and to make a meaningful difference in people’s lives and spaces.
That’s why I started this business, not just to offer a service, but to deliver real value to homeowners, businesses, and our Calgary community.
